Today we will drive to the southcoast coast and visit representative examples of not restored platforms, Ahus Vaihu in the bay of Hanga Te’e, and Akahanga, where supposedly the famous king Hotu Matua was buried. Proceed to Rano Raraku, quarry of almost 900 stone statues, 397 of them still lying or standing at the slopes of the extinct volcano with crater lake. Then visit Ahu Tongariki (restored with 15 Moais), most recent and biggest restauration on the island. Drive to the eastcoast and visit Ahu Te Pito Kura and the “Navel of the World”. Last but not least visit the beach of Anakena with its restored Ahus Nau Nau and Ature Huke. There you will have the opportunity to enjoy the warm Pacific Ocean. Back to hotel. Afterwards drive to the ceremonial village of Orongo, where the birdman competition took place and you can see the spectacular petroglyphs related to this culture, enjoy the breathtaking view towards the 3 islets Motu Nui, Motu Iti and Motu Kao Kao opposite the coast. Drive down again to Ahu Vinapu (not restored) and for some still proof of the influence of pre-inca arquitects in Easter Island culture. Last stop is Ana Kai Tangata cave with paintings. The second tour is to restored Ahu Akivi with 7 Moais, built in the middle of the island. The legend tells us that these statues are representing the 7 explorers who were sent to Rapa Nui by the king Hotu Matua. Proceed to the unrestored Ahu Hanga Poukura. Then visit the topknot-quarry Puna Pau with its red scoria stone, where all the Pukaos were made. SOME TOURS YOU COULD ADD IN SANTIAGO DE CHILE & SURROUNDINGS

Santiago City Tour, 4 hs (USD 39 per person)

Santiago de Chile is a cosmopolitan city that blends the oldness with modernity. We will show you the origins of our city and landmarks such as Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Post Office and the Municipality of Santiago. The tour will continue by the Government Palace and we will have the chance to walk through some of the most traditional streets and neighborhoods. Later we will go towards the east, where we will see modern buildings and how they have transformed the city. We end our tour at a craft store Piedras Australes where accompanied by a Pisco Sour, we will appreciate pieces of lapislazuli.

Concha & Toro Winery, 4 hs (USD 49 per person)

We will leave the city in order to go to the south and arrive to the Maipo River, where the main and most important vineyard of Chile was founded: Concha & Toro. This is an ideal zone for the production of Cabernet Sauvignon grape, the most traditional wine of the country. Founded in 1883, it is equipped with the most modern technology in cooling equipment, stainless steel tanks, filters and casks made of American Oak or French Evergreen Oak. We will visit the family park, the wine cellars and cellars. Among them the legendary Casillero del Diablo. We will taste its wines and will also have the opportunity to purchase them, as well as some souvenirs of the vineyard.

Valparaiso/Viña del Mar, 8 hs (USD 69 per person)

Our "Garden city", Viña del Mar, will charm us with its architecture, its streets, palaces, and the Quinta Vergara. We will drive the coastal border and will visit the port of Valparaiso which goes back to 1536. The city was declared World Heritage by Unesco and currently is the legislative headquarters. Valparaíso is a magical place of unique and unforgettable landscapes with colorful neighborhoods and picturesque funicular elevators. The tour ends at Sotomayor square and the port.
